Our Services
At Mindmap Connections, we provide integrated, evidence-informed mental health care that considers the psychological, biological, and environmental factors influencing wellbeing.
Our work is grounded in the understanding that mental health concerns rarely arise from a single cause. Effective support requires a comprehensive approach that addresses emotional patterns, nervous system functioning, lifestyle factors, and physical health influences.
We develop individualised treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and circumstances — with a focus on sustainable change and practical outcomes.
Individual Therapy (Adults)
Confidential, one-to-one counselling for adults experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional concerns.
Therapy draws on established, evidence-based modalities and is tailored to the individual’s presentation, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
Areas of support include:
Anxiety and panic
Depression and low mood
Stress, burnout, and overwhelm
Life transitions and adjustment difficulties
Neurodivergence (including ADHD and autistic traits)
Relationship challenges
Emotional regulation difficulties
Self-understanding and personal development
Where clinically relevant, biological contributors — such as sleep, hormonal factors, chronic health conditions, or medication effects — are considered as part of a comprehensive formulation.
Adolescents & Young People
Specialised therapy for adolescents navigating emotional, developmental, social, or behavioural challenges.
Adolescent work is conducted in a developmentally sensitive manner, balancing the young person’s need for autonomy with appropriate parental involvement.
Common areas addressed include:
Anxiety and school-related stress
Mood difficulties
Social challenges and peer issues
Emotional regulation
Identity development
Family conflict
Neurodivergence
School refusal
Parenting Support
Guidance for parents seeking to better understand and respond to their child’s emotional or behavioural needs.
Parent consultations may be provided alongside adolescent therapy or as a standalone service.
Support focuses on:
Practical communication strategies
Emotional regulation within the family system
Behavioural challenges
Parenting through anxiety, neurodivergence, or developmental transitions
Strengthening parent–child relationships
Reducing family stress and conflict
Integrative Care & Collaboration
Mindmap Connections operates within an integrative model of care.
Where appropriate, we collaborate with trusted practice partners — including GPs, psychiatrists, and naturopaths — to ensure clients receive coordinated support addressing both psychological and physiological contributors to mental health.
This collaborative approach may be particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing:
Complex or treatment-resistant presentations
Hormonal or metabolic influences on mood
Chronic stress-related conditions
Sleep disturbances
Fatigue or burnout
Neurodivergence with co-occurring health concerns
All collaboration occurs with client consent and within professional and ethical guidelines.
Access & Referrals
Clients may self-refer or attend with a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, which may allow access to Medicare rebates where applicable.

Our aim is to provide thoughtful, personalised care that helps clients gain clarity, develop effective skills, and move toward meaningful, sustainable improvement in wellbeing.
